Attachment removed from the vault on the desktop, then a sync: 266299 bytes became 49268. It weighed 217031 bytes - 81% of everything that travelled on every write, against an estimate of 78%. The fetch fell from 3244 ms to 597 ms. The phone can now save an attachment to Downloads, so it cost nothing. Worth keeping: the weight of a synced vault is its attachments, and since the container is monolithic, each one is paid on every write of any entry.
